The Infineon Technologies XENSIV™ TCI Integrated Gas Sensor – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, is now stocking the XENSIV™ TCI integrated gas sensor from Infineon Technologies.
The Infineon Technologies XENSIV TCI Integrated Gas Sensor is designed to measure the thermal conductivity of gases, for example, hydrogen in air. This thermal conductivity sensor provides reliable detection of hydrogen (H2) gas in demanding automotive and industrial applications. The XENSIV TCI thermal conductivity sensor operates on the principle of TC and utilizes a full differential MEMS sensor concept. The TC is measured by heating up parts of the MEMS structures and measuring the heat transfer through the gas. The TC sensing provides the highest robustness and stability for rough automotive applications. This gas sensor is AEC-Q100 qualified for 105°C and a 15-year lifetime.
The TCI sensor is ideal for H2 combustion engines, H2 refueling stations, Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), Energy Storage Systems (ESS), H2 electrolyzers, and stationary fuel cells.
