Viavi Solutions will showcase new offerings from its broad portfolio of optical test and measurement solutions at the Laser World of Photonics 2022 to be held in Mumbai, Dec 7-9. VIAVI will demonstrate new solutions from its industry leading optical test solution platform for lab, production and manufacturing and Ethernet test tools for R&D and system verification of optical transport ICs, modules and systems.
VIAVI will be demonstrating the following at Laser World of Photonics 2022 :
MAP-300 – The third-generation MAP-300 delivers scalability to meet both current and future needs of optical manufacturing test environments. The new MAP-300 builds upon the proven strengths of the MAP system while adding innovation where it matters most. Backwards compatible support for the installed automation base, combined with several new features, including an HTML-based GUI for multi-user environments, MAP-300 gives customers the capabilities they need to achieve their goals.
- Optical Spectrum Analyzer Module (mOSA) – A LightDirect module for MAP-series platform, this single-slot module is the most compact OSA in its class, delivering laboratory performance with the size and speed for product applications. Based on a next generation monochromator design, the OSA is designed to operate over the C and L-band single-mode fiber range.
- MAP Continuously Tunable Laser Source Module (mTLS) – The mTLS-C1 is continuously tunable high-power laser source for general purpose applications across DWDM, optical amplifier and silicon photonic test applications. The 3-slot module delivers performance and stability in a compact form factor that is ideal for use in R&D, NPI and volume manufacturing and can be easily integrated into diverse set of applications.
Passive Connector Testing (PCT) – The Passive Connector Testing (PCT) system is a powerful family of modules, software and peripherals for testing insertion loss, return loss, length and polarity of optical connectivity products. Built on the award- winning VIAVI MAP-300 Optical test platform, the PCT delivers a scalable test system that can be configured for R&D, production or qualification of test applications to optimize quality, productivity and capital utilization.
ONT- 800 – Highly configurable, multi-protocol, multi-port test platform for R&D and system verification of optical transport ICs, modules, and systems the ONT- 800 is a high–speed Ethernet test solution and robust network testing platform specially designed for versatility, reliability and accuracy needed in lab and production environments. A flexible testing platform for R&D and SVT that ensures ecosystem interoperability and accelerates product validation – across all high-speed transceivers and systems for bit rate evolution from 1G to 800G Ethernet. The advanced, versatile and user-friendly platform provides in-depth assessment of physical and transport layer performance via advanced stress testing options with exceptional bandwidth, power and cooling properties.
