Continues to expand their portfolio into eastern Asia by partnering with one of the most well-known remote sensing solution & service providers in Japan
Over the last half decade the low-cost autonomy and remote sensing industries have continued to sky-rocket paving way for a new need in the market. This need would ultimately be met by Inertial Labs’ ability to produce navigation and remote sensing payload solutions that remain un-matched in their price-to-performance ratio. In 2020, the year that was market with many disruptions and unparalleled consequences as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Inertial Labs began to make pivotal and strategic relationships that would allow themselves to align perfectly with one of the most well-known remote sensing solution and service providers in Japan, FLIGHTS Inc.
In a similar manner to Inertial Labs, FLIGHTS is motivated and compelled to set themselves apart and continue to establish themselves as the company that leads innovation in the drone and robotics markets. With FLIGHTS’ extensive experience with end-users as a service provider in the Japanese market for all services pertaining to remote sensing, they are an ideal partner for Inertial Labs. FLIGHTS Inc. offers services and products for commonly needed projects within application bases of: infrastructure inspection, land surveying, precision agriculture, and utility management.
This mutually beneficial partnership is an exciting next chapter for both Inertial Labs Inc. and FLIGHTS Inc. Anton Barabashov, Inertial Labs’ Vice President of Business Development, couldn’t be happier with the recent partnership. “Culture in Japan is much different than many countries. They are patient in their decision making, and intentional in relationship building. This richly leads to rewarding business partnerships and collaborative efforts in research and development. We are most excited to not only have partners in the most technology-rich nation in the world, but to also work together with FLIGHTS Inc. to further develop our solutions to incorporate more autonomous features such as LiDAR-SLAM and optical flow algorithms.”
The excitement of this decision can be seen and heard on both sides of the partnership. Hirosh Kashio, the Executive Director of Engineering from FLIGHTS Inc., is also very eager to see just how successful this joint endeavor will prove to be. “We are delighted to have found a reliable partner who shares common ambitions. Inertial Labs is a group of experts in manufacturing and developing of inertial systems, and we are very excited about the future of our relationship. With this partnership, FLIGHTS will not only offer its existing services but will also be able to quickly develop solutions that are needed “now” in a world where digital twins are becoming more and more familiar to us.”
With 2022 right around the corner, Inertial Labs and FLIGHTS, together, are ready to hit the ground running with collaborations that will bring readily available low-cost solutions for autonomous vehicles, and platforms in the remote sensing industry to Japan.
